It happened.
After months of planning, hundreds of e-mails sent and even more decisions made, the first-ever Five Minute Friday Retreat took place this past weekend.

And it was a gift.
On so many levels.
I’ll admit, I didn’t really know what to expect.
Turns out that’s the best way to go, since it leaves the door wide open for God to blow you away.

We made fast friends. We found heart sisters.

I could go on and on about what a gift this past weekend was, but I’d rather let you read about it from the others who were there.
Click the links below and find out what the Five Minute Friday Retreat meant to them.
But be careful: It might just blow you away.

God definitely did blow me away! Whatever I expected when I came was not what I wound up leaving with, in such a beautiful way. He moves and works in the most unexpected of ways, doesn’t He?
I struggled to put into words my reaction to last weekend, because it was something beyond words, in a way. But you’ve done a great job here!
Thanks so much, Kate – for your words here, for your words in emails and on Voxer, for your leadership, for your commitment to see this through. It was a glorious weekend and I’m certain that God was smiling on us all!! Love you!
Amen to being blown away! I love how God showed up big and poured exactly what we needed into each of us. For me, I felt a sense of brave that I have not experienced before and it was amazing. Leading a devotional was mind blowing!!! Thank you for choosing to say “yes” when the question about a retreat was asked. I loved the emails and working with you and the rest of the team. Love you!!!
what beautiful faces, and what beautiful hearts! even from the posts, i can sense the kinship and the gentle spirits… i wish i could’ve been in the midst. it is such grace-evident in this community! <3 <3
Kate, I linked FMF:LEARN to the wrong linkup – aagh…please remove it, I tried to but I’m not sure I was successful, it was in slot 11. So sorry.
